The Pilot G-Tec-C4 0.4 mm gel pen is built for fine, detailed writing — technical notes, small-scale diagrams, and any work where a standard fine-point pen still feels too thick. Its micro-conical tip uses a multi-dimple channel design around a tiny tungsten carbide ball, which keeps ink flow steady at this scale and helps avoid the scratching or skipping that can happen with very fine tips.

The ink itself is a bio-polymer gel formula designed to resist feathering and bleeding, even on the smoother, lighter-weight paper often used for technical grids and ruled layouts. The barrel is a clear crystal-polymer design with a faceted, anti-roll cap, so the pen won't slide off an angled desk or drafting table.
