Sakura Wax Crayon Marker 15 mm

The Sakura Wax Crayon Marker is a solid 15mm pigment stick built to mark where liquid ink fails. Instead of a felt nib and ink, it's a wax-based core packed with high-density opaque pigment, so it lays thick colour straight onto surfaces that would clog, shred or bead off a normal marker — dirty, rough, rusty or damp. It writes on most dry or wet surfaces (bar wet glass) and grips both smooth and heavily abrasive materials: iron, steel, raw concrete, wood, PVC, tin, aluminium and glass.

Once down, the mark is waterproof and holds its colour outdoors, resisting fading and sunlight on non-porous surfaces. It has a useful dual nature, though — permanent against weather and rain, but rubbable off smooth non-porous surfaces with hard friction when you only need a temporary mark. Working range runs from −10°C to 50°C.

It's a solid crayon rather than a marker: no cap, no pump, no nib, and nothing to dry out or prime, so it can sit in a pocket or toolbox indefinitely and you use it down to the last of the core. The 15mm stick fits most generic lumber crayon holders if you want a firmer grip for repeated marking. That makes it as suited to trades, warehouses and site marking (pipes, crates, barrels, lumber, tyres) as it is to writers wanting thick opaque marks on rough walls and steel.
