This set fills in the gap between a primary palette and a full collection — oranges, purples, teals, and ochre tones that would otherwise need to be mixed from primaries, useful for landscape work, fashion illustration, or typography where those in-between hues come up often. It's meant to extend an existing palette rather than stand alone as a starter set. Each pen has two tips on one ink reservoir: a flexible nylon brush tip up to about 10 mm for broader washes, and a fixed 0.8 mm bullet tip for precise linework.

The water-based dye can be combined with water for a smooth watercolor wash, and the pens stand upright in a display box with a lift-off lid.
